The North Penn YMCA is hiring Housekeepers for our Lansdale Area Family YMCA Branch.

Salary: $13-$18 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Cleans and sanitizes sinks, toilets, showers, restrooms and other assigned areas of the building
- Cleans and maintains floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces
- Empties waste containers
- Replaces soap, paper towels and other supplies
- Performs various duties such as dusting/mopping and maintaining entrances and offices, vacuuming carpets
- Set up furniture and signage for special events
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Maintain facilities and equipment in safe working order; report all issues to director
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Perform any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the North Penn YMCA
Qualifications:
- Requires high school diploma or GED, plus six months or more of related cleaning experience
- Effective Communication; written and oral
- Must have strong collaborative work ethic
- Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles
